How exactly is the snap feature broken? A buddy installed the trial and I asked him to test the Snap function and he says it works.
    Cheers,

Try to snap the pivot to a vertex... Doesn't work at all.

It is broken in certain specific scenarios, that are based on if you are snapping pivot on its parent object or other mesh, and which view are you currently in.

Well the most one i use is to just snap an object's own pivot to a face or vertex of it's own... It was working before and not now, and just that thing makes it unusable for a lot of users that do modeling.

It's actually a common thing in Software development. Regressions happen all the time. I actually bought a T-Shirt on that very issue this week: http://www.redbubble.com/people/tshi...os=2&p=t-shirt

The more complex a project gets the more often it's going to happen. With the amount of decades (literally) old spaghetti code that's to more common i guess heh

              Cheers.

                Funny!

Yesterday was the end of my trial, but this morning it still worked, because I didn't close MAX yesterday. MAX crashed, so now I have to license. I betcha, MAX crashing is a poor mans way of making sure people are licensed

Exactly. That´s why you never should install an new max version before the first service pack !
