Good to hear, normalize is very handy to recreate splines from 'ugly' boundaries or so.

Actually, I spoke to soon. I went to rebuild the site, created a new spline from it, and tried to put a curb on it. Same wonky rotations, even with the normailize spline mod.Bobby Parker

It should be simple. I take the poly and select its borders. I create a shape from the border and use it for the RailClone spline. Here is the file, if anyone is up to it.

This method works Bobby-
Select all of the "segments" from "shape001" use "Create Shape From Selection" to make a "smooth" shape.
Then apply a "Normalize spline" to that created spline.
Now assign your railclone to that spline.
here is a max file with it working properly.

That's how I have been working and it hasn't been working. Maybe it's my RailClone version. I ended up flattening the site, since from the camra view it didn't matter.Bobby Parker

We have that for ages,
you need to break the verts, railclone doesn't handle the hight differences with crubs, for some reasons it banks in stead of keeping it flat. A pain we for for years but it has never been solved.
If you do find a way around, please let me know
ThanksStan

The normalizer makes square corners round. How do you control that?Bobby Parker

Okay, I got it. I tried the radius on another project and it was taking forever. This is a smaller project, so it worked right away.Bobby Parker
