i have a two cameras in my scene but i want to render three different objects from two cameras. object one will be rendered on frame one while object two is invisible but on frame 5 i want object two to be rendered which object one is invisible, so both from camera 1. then for camera 2 i want to hide objects one and two and render object 3 on frame 15. after these three are done i want to do the same thing again all over but with a new material, how do i animation the object visibitly and material change in 3ds max 2015 in a clear and easy fashion? i could just make 6 different max files and this would be easiest for me but was thinking maybe it would be easier to animate it. i usually for animation just use the slice modifier to do this but would love to know if there is a better way, waiting also to see what is the response is over at autodesk forums but usually its a looooooong waite for a reply sometimes. any suggestions would be appreciated

Look into something like rpmanager or LPM on script spot. It's kind of under the umbrella of render pass management where you want to render slightly different setups from the same scene be it different lights, objects or materials.
In theory scene states in max will do this but I haven't heard a single person say that it's easy and reliable.
