Fine here, new WS with 10 and a few RN's upgraded. Setting the network and remote desktop was a lot easier than with 7 and 8.1. Only issue Ive run into was that it would get stuck during an upgrade of one of the nodes. Turning off windows update before restarting the upgrades solved it.

Once installed removed most of the apps that are standard (xbox app and other nonsense) and its been great so far. Still on max14 so cant speak for the newer versions.

For me the added value is with my Windows Phone, having everything connected with onedrive and one OS across all hardware works really well.

just to update, the issue i am having has been caused by the latest builds of corona, so i guess windows 10 is off the hook took awhile of removing all plugins etc to find out but had to

So maybe someting is wrong in the installation procedure, anyway i am going to reinstall my pc again grrrrrr
I have the exact same problem - max resets itself sometimes. I sometimes access my computer via windows' "remote desktop connection" and I suspect this to be the culprit. Are your computer sorted now after the reinstall?

Yes sorry did not test it yet (summerholiday) I had to move on so just installed win7 for now, after summer holidays I will test it again
However Auto desk says that max is compatible with Windows 10 from version 2017.... But some plugins like multi scatter are not yet ready for max2017......
Let u know if I know more

Multiscatter should be available for 2017 although they didn't announce it. The requirements state max 2017.

I haven't used it years, except on a recent project, but it was just for something small. I had a problem with Multiscatter because the support was not there and when it was, it was rude. It might have changed and gotten better, but I have since moved over to Forest pro.

I too have noticed 3dmax.ini resetting under windows 10 more often. But it could be because I occasionally have more than 1 instance of max running. The only problem I have with windows 10 is the automatic restarting. I don't mind the downloading and even installing updates. But several times now I lost hours of rendering because the computer restarts

I've been on it for about 3 weeks now and it doesn't restart by itself. No issues so far
