    hi all

    it's quite difficult, thought it would be easier. how would you make it? any good ideas?

    I would use a particle system of cubes, then use random rotations with rotation limits

    Just looked at it again, the shapes are not just cubes, so just randomise the shapes a bit as well.

          Looks more like several planes with noises stuck together?
          You could create a plane with enough subdivs, add a noise modifier with XYZ stregth. Then copy the plane and change the seed.
