Purchase your own personal server space/URL (say, from Go Daddy or another ISP), create your own unique email address(s) connected to your URL/server space, and control the whole thing from your local, private internet computer using Thunderbird.

      Been doing it for years...

Yeah, not! . I use to do all that, but I have been trying to peel back the onion and only do what I enjoy doing. I would rather not mess with the technical side of most things, nowadays.

Dude, if you can do what you do with Max and Vray, then what I described should be a cakewalk! And the overall control is (and I'll use this word correctly and in context) awesome!

After setting everything up, you don't really have to touch a thing and the center of that "onion" is pretty sweet.

After all this what you were complaining about (all the messing around Google makes you do, and I can assure you it will only get worse.)

You see, there is no free lunch, and if you want YOUR data and YOUR communication to be ALL YOURS and work the way YOU want, then YOU must control it completely. This is the way.
