  • Forest Pro Parking

Has anybody experienced the double car problem while populating a parking lot using Forest Pro? I posted it on their forum, but I am in a hurry to solve it.

did you use a reference object to put them in place? I usually create a block in AutoCAD file then I link it to max and replace them with cars..... That happened to me when I had two blocks in the same spot.
        show me the money!!

They are XREF's in MAX. I tried without XREF's, but the same thing.

Would collision checking (under distribution) work for this setup?

Oh I see, not sure how it was created, but if you select the ForestPack object, then under the Tree Editor rollout there's a very small button with a tree on it, next to where it says "# items in object'. Click that button, or alternatively, just click on the Forest base object in the modifier list in the modify tab (if that makes sense, I can otherwise attach a picture). You are now in the FPs sub-object level, and you can now manually select and delete the car objects.
Switching the FPs viewport display to box will definitely help with this (Display Rollout > Proxy > Box).
