Maybe you should check our doc page:

    About refractive index:

I didn't understand what do you mean in the last message?

Please, update your knowledge with our documentation because a lot of things are changed since Phoenix 2.
The link I've shared already answer to your question - Refractive index option is now in Particle shader node (in Cellular/Bubbles/Splash rollout)

how to set this parameter 1.7 in phoenix 3.0?

If you are in Point mode, this parameter does not affect the rendering neither in Phoenix 2, or 3. You need to set the Mode to Cellular/Bubbles/Splash and then a new rollout will appear with the Refractive index parameter. However, in Point mode the rendering is faster, but there are no refractions and thus - the refractive index is not used.

                  Cheers!

n this lesson, is it better to use a point?
I just can not get the same effect

Yup, Point mode will be better for dust and sand, you don't need the bubbles in this case. How does your setup look so far?

Hmm, looks like your fragments might be moving too slow and they cannot pull the smoke along. How many frames into the simulation is this screenshot?

but what about the rendering and density, etc?
