  • phoenix follow path issue

    i'm trying to achieve something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD4IosEhALY,
    at the end when the liquid is supposed to fill the glass it get stuck on the path, moving slowly as it get far from the spline,
    i would also like to know how to start the simulation from 2 different paths
    one close to each other but in different directions
    how can i avoid the liquid flickering at 0.20 secs?

    Hey,

    Which Phoenix version do you use? With the latest you should not have a problem with the liquid getting stuck at the end of the path.

    If you want to have two liquids moving close to each other and being affected by different path, you have to use 2 separate simulators, like in this setup: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...followingapath

    You can avoid the flickering by using a render cutter - set the glass geometry as a cutter and invert it. You must switch the render mode to Isosurface too.
