  • PhoenixFDOceanTex is bugged

    Hi Guys,

For some reason at frame 1 PhoenixFDOceanTex is showing things correctly but then when I render frame 20 the sea got calmed? seems like no movement is going on anymore with the sea?

    Hey,

Can you send us a scene so we can check what is wrong?

    Thank you,

      here you go,

I have attached 11 frames of animation and you can see that the sea is slowly dissapearing?

      Edit:

I have purged the scene with all animations and merged to the new file and now its working fine. I guess I have auto keyed somewhere by mistake maybe?

but if you guys found out the reason then it would be great.

In the Rendering rollout of the Simulator, disable the Vert. Fade level checkbox and you should be fine.
There is no bug - it's just that your simulator is linked to the boat and your ocean level goes up and down and this option suppresses the displacement.

You can find more about it here - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...g-Displacement
