Hi, quick question. What is the unit of length and thickness in VRayFur? Chaos Group doc say "Calculated in the default SketchUp unit - inches." but in my test, it doesn't look like it's in inches. Am I wrong somewhere in this test? Here are some screenshots:

Hi,
It is possible that the V-Ray Fur is rendered on the bottom of the plane. Could you please reverse the faces (Edit Mode > right-click > Reverse Faces) and see if the V-Ray Fur component is rendered correctly then?
Otherwise, the Length units are SketchUp's default (inches). Thickness parameter signifies radius in inches, as well.

Hi,
Thank you for providing the file!
Please be informed that everything rendered correctly as set up. The differences produced in the render output are due to the adjustment in the Variance rollout. You could set those to 0.
Regarding the different units, kindly note that SketchUp is hard-coded to inches.
