    Hi,

    I´m struggling with this small details.



    This is the geometry:



    Then I´ve modified like this:



    And the result is this:



    But those lines are way too dark now, so I made them thinner and the problem rise up again.
    My settings are pretty much vray standard:

    Adaptive 0/3
    preset at medium

    I took irr to high and it was even worst.
    I´m using only environment lighting (simulate a cloudy day)

    Am I missing something or with Vray this kind of details are not a possibility?

    try lowering your AA threshold below the .1 default.

      It is better, thanks. But , what is all that grey stuff (shadows or stains) on that wall?

          For really super fine stuff like this, you may not want to use the adaptive AA, but the Simple two level, at a setting of 1,4, or 2,4... 2,4 will be expensive. I have found it to be better and more responsive to these promble areas which adaptive tends to over smooth.
