I just see , that i am one year in the public forum now ( 01.08. - i guess if i go on posting as many messages i will be somewhere about 38 messages next year - LOL ) - so guess it won't take long to become a "full" vray-forum-member when vray is available for maya. and finally the sun comes out ....[/url]

can someone ask, on that other thread for me which I cannot post in, if vray will be 64bit for max or just 64bit for stand alone?

Cause that would be realllly neat :P

Whenever Autodesk releases a 64-bit version of 3dsmax, V-Ray is ready to work with it (in native 64-bit mode).

              Best regards,
              Vlado

oh okay i didnt think that vray would rely on that , but fair enough!

max 8 should be 64bit one would hope!

max 8's pdf does not mention 64bit ANYWHERE!

                  unbelieveable.
