  • Dome light changes

I set the Dome light where I'd like to see the sun coming into a scene during an interactive render. But when I switch to a final rendering, the light changes. Attaching an example. You can see the light on the rug in the interactive render screen shot that's missing on a final render. These are low resolution for illustration purposes. Wondering why this is happening. I do have the sunlight on too but it doesn't seem to matter. Thanks in advance.

Yes but it’s not staying where I want it. Ie: Across the rug as seen in the interactive render screen shot.

What i mean is, the sunlight on the rug look like a triangle, it look like fake light, do you check your scene, is there any fake light in scene?

Yes. I know it’s not realistic. It’s not done. I just wanted to show one clear example to illustrate the issue. I don’t understand why the dome light entering the scene will not stay in the same place when I switch from interactive to non-interactive rendering.

Hard to say without a scene. Simplify the scene and attach (or send) it.

I figured out what the issue was. I had it set to Infinite Dome. Once I removed it, the sun stayed where I wanted it.
Thank you all for your responses.
