  • irradianance map incremental saving doesn't seem to work

i tried various settings: new incremental, add incremental etc. but each setting seems to save a new map and overwrites the old samples, i did not manage to create a signle irradiance map for a whole object.

i first calculated one side of the object (the imap should have been automatically saved) then i rotated the object and calculated again (with add incremental it should have added the new samples) now if i rotate the object back again and set: from file all the imap-samples from the first calculation have gone.

please correct this. and by the way, what is the difference between new incremental and add incremental?

    thanks.

The Vray for Rhino::Bugs forum. If you can't see it and you are a beta tester then send an email to info@asgvis.com

Am I a beta tester or...?

So this makes me wonder if I'm missing a lot of what might be going on in the beta tester board. I guess I'm not strictly a beta tester since I had to wait until the pre-release purchase date to get my copy. I would still like to hear the latest on bugs and what not as I play around with V-ray.

Everyone who has a legitmate copy of VRay for Rhino can get access to the beta forums. Please email info@asgvis.com if you do have a legitmate copy of VRay for Rhino and are having trouble setting up an account to view our non-public forums.

And yes, you are missing a lot of discussion / tips / etc if you are not viewing our private forums
