  • HDRI background problem

I've a little problem: there's a method to hide from the view, the hdri image used for reflection/refraction map?
Now I'm using a plane to cover backgroud but this increas the render time and the colour that it gives is'n properly pure white as i want...
    thanks

    HDRI background problem

I guess there's a bit more to what you want, so I am trying to read deeper into your post a bit. First you can uncheck Background or unmap the image, this however, will remove the background from any reflections and I assume you don't want that. The next option which is the easiest is to save your image in a format that supports an alpha channel. PNG, TGA, and HDR are the formats that can be saved from vfr that support alpha channels. The you can move the image to some sort of post processing program (most likely photoshop) and remove the background and replace it with white.

Since vray from this morning doesn't reflect any hdri map anymore and i don't know what to do, where do you find this option (uncheck Background or unmap the image)?

      Thank you

              HDRI background problem

my problem is with vray for rhino.

Does anyone can help me? Reflection HDRI on GI background map aren't visible on objects. Also the background map itself isn't visible, but a dark gray color only.

Wrong texure mapping? Did you enable "environment" and the right mapping type?

Yes, i really don't know why!

if someone can send me a TEST rhino scene, simply with a sphere and a GI environment it would be great

How can i get my objects shine like this ?
