  • Urgent for Exam...please [Time Render]

Hi guys, i must find a good rapport between quality/time render.

    I use this impostation:

GI Reflect Caustic: OFF , Refract Caustic: ON
    Primary Engine: Irradiance Map M:1
    Second Engine: Light Cache M:1

    IRRADIANCE MAP
    min -4 max 0
    samples 20
    hsph 66
    yes show calculation phase
    no multipass
    yes randomize samples
    yes check visibility

    LIGHT CACHE
    Sub 1000
    Sample 0.02
    Adaptive YES
    Use for glossy NO
Filter Nearest -> Interp Samp 5

    QMC SAMPLER
    Ad A 1
    Min Samp 8
    Noise 0.001
    Subv Mult 1
    Randomize Halton

    In Enviroment i use
GI , bitmap HDR shperical MULTI: 1
REFLECTION , bitmap HDR shperical (the same) MULTI: 1

I like render but time is too long [FOR ME...and there is not the water...]
If i set the noise to 0.01 the noise is toooo much but render more faster (not too much..)

Please help me, i have an exam

    I would change

    Second Engine: Light Cache M:0.8

    IRRADIANCE MAP
    max -1
subdivs 60 (If you get splotches, than adjust here first. Maybe you can use a lower value too.
samples 30 (Don't use to high values - details are lost and render time increase)

    LIGHT CACHE
    Adaptive NO
Use for glossy YES (important speed up)

    QMC SAMPLER
Ad A .85 (if you see noise at some materials, than use the mat subdivs)
    Noise 0.01

    Enviroment
Use a preblured version of your HDRI for GI light. So, the sampling is easier and faster with less noise.

        with your setting

As you can see, if i set 0.01 noise there is too much noise...

but the time render is quite good

Re: Urgent for Exam...please [Time Render]

                  Double post? Confusing.

My setup is a classical setup method. Please don't ignore "if you see noise at some materials, than use the mat subdivs" , because it's important.

For example glossiness <-> subdivs (material option of reflections/refractions)
                  1 .. 8
                  0.9 .. 22
                  0.8 .. 33
                  0.7 .. 44
                  ...

So, you should get best results.
