  • Help! Problem with clear glass and direct sunlight

Can someone help me out? Been trying to fix this for hours to no avail...
Im doing an exterior render of a building with windows. I've applied the standard clear glass material that comes with v-ray for SU for the windows. The fog multiplier for the glass is 1. I modelled the glass as a solid box 20mm thick. When i render with default lights, the sunlight just doesnt seem to penetrate the glass. It looks right when i turn on 'display shadows' in SU.

In the refractive layer there is a setting called Affect Shadows...enable that and it should do what you're looking for.
