hi there:
i have not been using 3D MAX for ages. basically ever since vray for rhino was released. rendering directly inside the software you're modelling in is just such an improvement for the workflow.
anyway. now i'm finally looking for a function/feature i can't find in rhino:
http://www.aversis.be/3dviz_portfolio/25.htm
i want to render a product into a photo/onto a background image.
just like they often do with cars, but in my case i want to render a bottle and a glass into a kitchen photo.
i also have a chrome ball, so i will create a custom HDRI for the rendering.
the objects i want to render onto the photo are transparent, so photoshopping is not good enough.
in 3D MAX one can set a background image for the perspective/camera, that does not move, so you can align your objects in the scene to the image.
how do i do that with vray for rhino ? or is this something for the whishlist ?
please help.
