  • vray proxy?

hi, well i saw a vis mesh command and im wondering if its the same as vray mesh( proxy for 3d max)

if it is does any one has an idea of how to use it? ( the max one, requires to attach all te geometry to create a multi sub object material for the proxy, and i dont know how it works here. i've been playing arround and im not seeing any viewport difference ( in vray for max, the oject geometry and polycount get reduced drastically, but here in rhino, the geometry is the same)).

    thanks.

    Re: vray proxy?

We have it set up so that you can export a VRMesh, but nothing else. All of the rest of the things that are required for proxies aren't in place yet, and are being worked on for the next full version.

It should be the same, although I haven't taken a look at the output of our vrmesh export process. The new version won't be ready for some time, as we've just started with development.
