  • Some toon material problems

Hi, I´m not very sure whether it is bug or my fault but I have some (serious) problems with toon material in SR 1.5.

I tried to change line width by black'n'white gradient bitmap, that wasn't problem at all:

    but:
    1) I thought it would work the same with line opacity but I´ve noticed that with opacity set to 0 the line was not transparent but white, same effect with gradient map (as you see on the picture). Is there any way to make these lines somehow blend into the material (without decreasing their width)?

    3) I tried to use bitmap for line color as well but it doesn't work at all, it doesn't overwrite the original color.

    Any ideas?

The opacity and color issues look to be bugs. I'm not getting them to work here either, and I'm not sure exactly why they aren't working. We'll take a closer look and see what might be going on.

My suggestion would be to try and do some masking in Photoshop...compositing the standard render and a toon version might get you where you're looking to go.
