  • Problem with the LC calculation, help please

    Hello,
I have vere big problem with the LC calculation during the rendering.. it takes maybe 500% more time then the initial renderings I have done with the same scene, settings etc.

At the beginning I solved the problem with simply copy everything into new file and render it there.. but later this trick stoped to work..
Part of my objects I did with /strech/ and other instruments which make the geometry really complex. Now I remodeled everything in a proper way but the render stays longer. I have the feeling that I can't really clean the LC even pressing reset, dont save and other buttons there on the menu.
It is a living room with sun, sky, IM and LC
I hope somebody can help me
    Thank you

Sounds like a typical "duplicate transparent object" issue. I would check this. Or do you use many lights?

If _SelDup dosn't help to find the reason, than copy your Vray setting to a new file and start a rendering. Should be ok. Now copy parts of the original scene to the new file and check the LC speed. If a geometry is the problem, than the LC speed should decrease after a copy&paste. Try to find the problem objects.

      thanks Micha,

I have any duplicated object also any bad..
I am using sun and sky which came inside the interior trough huge windows; so any rec lights.. Some omnis with inverse square are behind 2side solids.
Now I'm renderings with IM+DMC (instead of the LC which I admire) and everything is OK.
ps>>I have feeling like vray is not cleaning the intermemory after usage.. and the LC stays there..

        ok

there was a block definition from the import from AutoCad. I erase it and now everything is fine!
