  • Aligning Vray cam to Max cam

    Hey guys

    I have a problem:

I have a 3ds Max scene with camera and lighting. Everything is made for the default scanline renderer in max, meaning the scene has max lights and a max camera.

Now I want to have this scene completely Vray ready. The main Problem I have is the replacing of the max camera (standard Target) with the Vray cam (physical).

I aligned the Vray cam to the Max cam and adjusted the FoV but the area to render is still a different one, it seems the Vray cam is closer...

Is there a way to get EXACTLY the same render area?

    Cheers
    danny

btw: I am a vray customer, just dont know how to tell my account

you could render with your standard cams but override with exposures etc. from a vray cam

Scripts are the easiest way honestly. I'm sure there's some on Scriptspot.com.

Okay, thanks guys... its seems its not working properly in this scene, even with the scripts.
So I just hang out to the normal cam..

Lele's vray tools haven't been updated in a while 1.5RC3? However, he's still around here periodically. *Puts out the Lele Signal*
