Vray on Windows 8

Hey guys!
I just installed windows 8 and I can't make vray for sketchup work! Did anyone had the same problem?

We'll have to wait until the admins post their info about this. I'd also like to install windows 8 as well.

Officially V-Ray for Sketchup do not support Windows 8 at the moment. We have a workaround till we have a patch or new version that supports Windows 8.
You have to use this Windows' Compatibility mode.

Here is how you can do it:

Right-click the installation file for V-Ray and choose Properties.
When the Properties dialog box appears, click the Compatibility tab and in the Compatibility Mode section, select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For check box and select Windows 7 from the drop-down list.
Click OK and then try to install V-Ray.

We made some tests and everything looks good but it is possible to run into some problems.

Hmm. Tried this and there is no Compatibility tab in the window. Is there another option somewhere to find this?
