  • VRay only renders 800 x 600

Just bought and installed VRay for Rhino 5. I did the dongle registration and it now lets me render using VRay. However I am stuck rendering at 800 x 600. There is not a watermark.

I am not sure if the licensing program is on or not. I don't see any separate program.

I went into the VRay settings and set the resolution to higher and to override the viewport settings.

    Thanks.

This will sound ridiculous, but try closing and reopening the file and see if it lets you change resolution. I'm seeing an intermittent problem where you change a setting but it doesn't actually change. Usually closing and reopening fixes it.

Yes it is very strange indeed.
Does this issue disappear or it still persists ?

For me it is intermittent - it might disappear, it might come back. Opening and closing solves it, sometimes just opening and closing the dialog box fixes it. so I can't send a sample file. It can be something in the Vray options (but usually output size), or sometimes I see this with lights.

SH, did this fix your problem?

Thanks for the replys. I got it to work by clicking get view aspect button.
