Hi,
i am composing a short cg scene in Nuke and wanted to ask about an issue.
I am receiving some .exr frames with deep info rendered in Vray (not sure if 2.x or 3, didn´t ask the 3d guy yet) of some growing vines, which seem to have its leaves opacity mapped.
The thing is that the leaves -and the grass- and even some of the trunks of the vine appear just exiting the deepread node with some white halo as if there were some premultiplication problem. Not sure if that could be the case with deep images.
There´s even some halos on the edges of the mapped cards for the leaves, as if there where some filtering artifact, but there are also on the edges of the trunks.
I can post just a small crop here:
I have read there is some plugin for nuke to read the deep files from vray, but as i undertood from my reading that´s not the case with .exr files (?)
I was hoping to have some insight from you here before talking to whom is delivering the images in order to ask him for some specific settings if needed.
Thanks in advance
T
