Depending on the version of V-Ray for Rhino you are using and the effect you are looking for, there are several ways you can proceed:
- Use ToonMtl. If you want transparency you can set the base material's opacity to 0.
- Use VrayEdgesTex in the Diffuse and (optionally) Opacity map slots.
- Use the Capture Viewport to File button (ViewCaptureToFile) while in Wireframe/Technical/Pen mode and combine the image in a photo-editing software of your choice with a rendered image of the same view, size and aspect ratio.Peter Chaushev

We apologize for this situation. We are making the necessary changes to avoid this to happen again.
V-Ray for Rhino is not dead, we are currently is a close beta process and we are going to open the beta for the public very soon.
We have a new UI and a lot of new features. We are using the same core as V-Ray for 3ds Max 3.4. therefore we have access to the latest V-Ray technology. Our render is 50%+ faster than V-Ray 2.0. We have features like Denoiser, Round edges, SSS2, Fur, Hair material, Carpaint, Stochastic flakes, Blend materials, clipper plane, mesh light and much more.
I would like to include you to the close beta process, so, you can take advantage of all this tool right now.
Please, let me know if this is something you would like to do.

Wire frame and curve renders? You could think about to use the Rhino render tool _CurvePiping. So you would render curves as light wight mesh objects.www.simulacrum.de ... visualization for designer and architects
