I'm trying to get an underwater explosion to happen in Maya using a sphere discharging negatively to suck water in and then animated positively high enough to blow the water out into mist and splashes. I've seen several threads that have example files for this method in Max, but no luck finding an example scene file for Maya.
Does this seem like the right direction to continue in or should I be trying something with forces?
