Hey, i'm rendering off an animation with vray, and using GI, but when i render it seems like my light is flickering! does anyone know whats causing this? it's really distracting and doesn't look good.
Thanks for the help
is it noisy shadows? you might wanna use a higher setting. or an overall image flicker of brightness?

im thinking its an auth problem. those settings might create some minor noise but not image flicker of brightness like your describing. Try turning off gi and retry animation. If it still flickers, then your not using a legal version.
maybe we could make a "flickering animation" sticky in this section of the forum???

Yea but if we did that it would be harder to pick out the numbnuts using the pirated software and reporting them to the proper authorities...

I don't know... I think it is best to ignore them... right? It is not like they have a usable version if Vray... it flickers!
This is true
