Having trouble getting lens effects to work while using Denoiser

Sketchup 2017, VRAY 3.4, Windows 10

When I set up the lens effects in RGB, and then switch to denoiser, the lens effects turn off. The boxes are still checked that Bloom and Glare are on, but they are not affecting the image at all. I tried manually clicking update effects (its usually on interactive), and that does not work either. Is there a trick here or certain process of clicks that I need to follow? Thanks!

Hi,

This is a known limitation. Our developers have already made the necessary changes which will allow Lens effects to be applied on the denoised render result. The solution will be available in the upcoming V-Ray for SketchUp update.

Should I expect it to be in version 3 of VRAY for Sketchup, or in a future one?

It has been implemented in V-Ray 3.6 for SketchUp, which is in the final stages of development.

V-Ray 3.6 has been released.
The lens effects and the denoiser result are now displayed together in a single render element called 'effectsResult'.
The element will appear automatically in case bloom, glare or denoiser is enabled.
