I'm just testing out the Bidirectional Path Tracer in Vray on an interior scene that I built a couple of weeks ago, but i'm having an issue with the HDRI rendering properly...

I have the HDRI set up in a dome light as you normally would, and it renders absolutely fine on the normal production renderer - but on the BDPT it doesn't show up in the background/as an environment, even though it is lighting the scene. Any ideas?

Also, whilst it's slightly off topic; does BDPT antialias, or does it require me to render at twice the resolution (supersampling) or so?

Update: I take back what I said about the dome light providing lighting, it isn't lighting the scene at all. Does the BDPT support the dome light?

Side question... is there a way to enable it in V_Maya? Or is it the light cache progresiv path thini ? I'm starting to get mixed up with all the new naming :s

Very strange, I'm using the latest release (not a nightly build).

I can confirm that it works fine with the last official 2.40.03 version.
Would it be possible to send us samples scene ?

BDPT is not available in Vray for Maya for the moment.

Unfortunately can't give any time frame about this implementation at this stage, but we will definitely add it to the V-Ray for Maya as well.
