Hi,
how can I rid of the additional transparency in the shadow?
I have a shadow catcher on the ground and what you see is the enviroment hdri behind the shadow catcher.
I tried adding material to the shadow catcher and setting the roughness to 1 and glossiness to 0, reflect is pitch black, diffuse is also black.
I also tried setting the background color to white and using the hdri as an override for GI and reflection, which does get rid of the problem, but it just doesn't look so well.
Any idea of a nice workaround which would get rid of the glitch(?) and still allow me to use the hdri as a background?
I was thinking maybe putting white background between the shadow catcher and the hdri behind it might work, but I didn't get to it yet.
