  • how to get accurace angle of Sun

    ok so I have a Max sun setup in my scene and have defined Long/ lat values, for convenience is there a way to find out what the angle of sun for given time/date etc.

    I need to show projected shadows angles in Autocad

    Probably use a tape helper snapped to the sun and its target - it'll give you an angle to the x axis.

        The control panel for the sun position also gives you the sun Azimuth and Altitude.

          It will be in VRay Stage-4 2.0 SP6. The upgrade will cost almost as much as VRay itself and all the VRay materials and shaders will be separated into a different product and you'll be charged at least $200 for them.
