    Howdy

    A quick tip for every1 out there who love to see real time stuff inside 3ds max !

    In any case here is a screen shot that tells u all u need to know. - Left sphere mental ray - right sphere vray

    U need PowerPreview from http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/sc...reviews?page=2

    U also need to Click

    View > Show materials in viewport as > Realistic Materials With Maps

    And make sure to tick on Dyn.Refl inside PowerPrevview.

    As far as I can tell all works even Fresnel - lol - except for glosiness - chaos getting lazy ? :> / joke ofc...

    Anyway Enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

    Can't make the glossiness work unfortunately... also keep in mind that Nitrous reflections are cube mapped. They work well on a sphere, but not on a plane.

      Mao even for the 2013 max?

      In any case, is it possible to code vray lights/hdri dome to display in viewport using this tweak ? - the white rectangle/sphere
