hello i have one question, looks like for faster renders, need to use render nodes, so what hardware are best for price/performance wise is it server with xeons, or lets say i7 4790k and overcloced it with water cooling, and use 3 or 5 of them

hello, can some one show how to make brushed metal texture with procedural noise in vray because i get some mess and how to use Transform and matrix node with projection nodes, because about that there is no documentation in manual of chaos group

Can someone please help me figure out how to get depth of field working in V-Ray for Blender? I feel like I have tried pretty much everything and I get no depth of field effect. Should I be using f-stop values less than 1?

I did addon for preserving exposure (F-stop vs shutter speed) when using DOF, but now its not working because its part of larger addon.

I don't understand. Are you saying/confirming that DOF is currently not working?

Nevermind, you image shows that you have it working. I guess it is the decimal range below 1. I will try that.

So in my scene to get even close to adequate depth of field I have to have an F-stop number of 0.1 and a shutter speed of 1/100,000. That seems pretty messed up to me. Should I report this as a bug?
