Render Channels > Color Channel > Material ID. It renders always black, no matter if materials have Material ID 0 or 1 or something else.

It shows "Material Id Color" (at the bottom of the node).

Thank you, finally I found it All the time looking for N-panel node settings. So is this the best way to create material pass, to change every nodes Material Id Color to random ?Win11 Pro 64bit, GTX 970, Standalone version: V-Ray Next 4.30.03,

Yes. You could also use Material ID number and use "MultiMatte" pass with "Use Mtl Id".

Yes, Multimatte works also. Is it possible for quicker material pass use, add material option for Render ID pass, so materials are also random colors ? Or similar way without need to change any material settings, just like Render ID pass currently do for objects.Win11 Pro 64bit, GTX 970, Standalone version: V-Ray Next 4.30.03,

JuhaW, I've added a button that'll generate you random color for "Material ID" on "Standard Material" node.
