  • HELP! HSV-window glass problem

I've read a posting on this before, but can't seem to find the thread...

    Using HSV colour mapping...

I've got an interior scene with an HDR map outside for the view. Looks great, but when I add the window glass, the outside view is darkened.

Even when I increase the HDR multiplier, it remains dark outside...

HEEELLLP!!!!! I need to send this for imap calc NOW

    Thanks in advance

hide the glass, calc the imap and for rendering, unhide the glass. light should travel through fine now.

effect background doesn't work in the 1.09 versions, I think. But it won't effect your imap cal'c, so you can do it and deal with the color mapping later.

            .....doH!..........
guys, i feel really dumb! Especially after such quick responses from who i consider the 'Vray Forum Allstars"

I've 'ticked' and 'unticked' everything that needed to be checked:
            -affect shadows
            -affect background (ticked and unticked)
            -no shadow casting
-increased the multiplier for the outside HDR

....the problem was that i was increasing the multiplier on the wrong background image....please forgive me! ...deadline stress...
