    surface

I think I havnt used boolean since 3dstudio3, back then the modelling choices were limited
To model this object, my prefered method would be surface tools, the best way IMO to get perfect 90° fillet on the edge while keeping full straight faces.

      Hi

If you want to do an object like the one on the pic that you showed, with chamfered edges - a chamfer box with booleans and no meshsmooth will do it, but generally round surfaces are a big problem in max in my opinion. I had a lot of dealing lately with booleaning rounds into somewhat square objects and it was very time - consuming. I prefer poly instead of mesh - to me it is a lot superior, especially in max7! I will post an image later to show what i achieved but generally, if someone has a quick and effective method of doing this will be appreciated. Thanks
      Best Regards,
      Tisho
