Really? Not just Vray, and 3Ds Max, but the whole machine? Why?

    Hi JD3D_CGI ,

This version of the Cosmos Browser requires a machine restart to ensure the Cosmos Browser process is started on behalf of the the current user.
Prior to the restart the Cosmos Browser is run by the system user (for legacy reasons) and sharing to a network drive cannot be used as a result.

I realize that restarting is very inconvenient but I assure you that this is a one time thing, as we made a big underlying change in the Cosmos Browser architecture.

      Hi JD3D_CGI ,

As to the folder selector, we will work improve the UI.
Turns out, since we use Web based technologies (Electron), implementing a folder selector was not so trivial.
That's why we decided to release sooner without it and make an improvement in some of the future iterations.
