  • Is it possible to animate Cosmos vehicles?

Can the wheels be animated to spin and/or turn?

    Thanks

You'd need to import as a mesh and separate the wheels to do so, which is simple enough.

Hi. How do you import as a mesh?

Yes is possible, on C4D you just need to convert the object in editable polygons (I assume is the same also on other packages).
You will still need to disconnect wheels, brakes etc from the chassis since it is a single object.

          I’m using Maya.

I’m a bit confused. Do I import a cosmos vehicle as a mesh thru the File menu or do I convert it to a mesh after importing from cosmos widget and if so, how. Does anyone have steps or a YouTube video link?

I'm using Max but the properties panel should be the same after you drag/drop the model. You should see 'Proxy Params', where you can choose to 'import as mesh'.
Then I assume Maya can then convert it to polys.
