New PC and new installs. Cosmos isn't working. When I import, it shows progress, but nothing happens.

I tend to talk to myself on the forum these days, but it might help someone else. I moved the assets folder to a local folder, and it said I had no rights. So, I manually changed the right on the folder. Windows 11 is really bad about this. I create a folder and I have no rights to save there; lamo!

I need to know what folders anything V-Ray uses. It seems that when you install V-Ray on Windows 11, it doesn't give those folders rights. Cosmos had only read rights for the local administrator, which is insane. This is probably why my Vantage never stayed installed inside of MAX.

You are likely lacking admin rights, you are sure you are real admin?

I have tried absolutely everything. Local admin created new admin users, the default Microsoft admin (OneDrive).

Here is how to enable hidden true admin for windows 10
              1. Open “Run” with [Windows] + [R].
              2. Type “cmd” and press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Enter].
              3. Type “net user administrator /active:yes”.
              4. The administrator account is now activated.
For win 11 follow this article
              https://pureinfotech.com/enable-admi...0%9D%20command.

However if your files are on the network then access rights may need to be managed by the domain.
