save selected objects as group

It would be nice if you can select multiple objects and lock them together or even name them.
So next time you select one of those elements all elements are selected

like in the attachment i have 6 roofsails i might want to animate but when working i always want to select all 6 of them... i can lock the possition, but i cant lock there connection that would be nice too
