Thanks, I was finally able to reproduce the issue. I discovered that it only happens if the vertical render resolution is not divisible by 16, so I guess earlier I used a default 1440x720 resolution and 720/16=45. But 1000/16=62.5 and there is this seam. It goes away at 1008 and 1024. So if you can, render at a resolution divisible by 16. Your other option is to use the Intel denoiser if it is not an animation sequence. The Intel denoiser does not have a seam, but it doesn't have the same temporally stable mode ("reduce flickering") for animations.
