Difference in render output with Vantage and Vray GPU

Hello!

I'm using Vantage to pre-vis animations, and Vray CPU to render the final animations.

When I compare the Vantage and Vray renders, there is a difference in how the Filmic Tone Mapping is affecting the images, even though both are using the same settings. I'm using Hable.

Is there a way to have consistency across both renders?

Maybe there's a specific color mapping setting to use in Vray to get the same output?

I think our filmic formulas match V-Ray. We don't support OCIO yet (WIP). Can you check the Vantage log for warnings about OCIO? Try comparing the result without OCIO (switch to sRGB) to verify.

I'm just using the old Gamma Workflow in Max, and I don't know about OCIO in Vantage.

It appears like Vray's White Point is reducing the highlights, even if it's set to 0.

This below is the default setting in V-Ray, as far as I know. In your case is the radio button set to "OCIO" or something else?

OK, in this case I don't know where the difference comes from. If you can share a simple scene that showcases the issue (here or through a support ticket) we will investigate it.
