I am exporting a .vrscene from a grasshopper script for camera path and another .vrscene from rhino with the geometry, materials, and lights [using the same rhino file for both]. Until a day or so ago, when I imported and merged them in vantage, they would align perfectly. Now, it seems that the camera path file is exporting in centimeters, while the rest of the geometry is exporting in inches [the base rhino file units are in inches]. When I import them into Vantage, I need to scale down all of the geometry and lights by ~.4 [inches to centimeters is .394] to have them align. Is this a problem with a recent update to vantage? Am I missing something when exporting the .vrscene from grasshopper?

I don't think we've made changes that could affect this. Most likely something happened to the settings with which your camera vrscene is exported. The V-Ray for Rhino team (forum section) could advise you on this if you can't find it in the UI.
You could check the vrscene file scale yourself by finding SettingsUnitsInfo in the file and looking for the meters_scale parameter. It would be 0.01 for cm and 0.0254 for inches.Last edited by npg; 19-11-2021, 02:23 AM.Nikola Goranov
