  • Render Elements limitations

    Hi

So when rendering animation, are these the ONLY elements we can get out?
Albedo, Bumped Normals, Velocity, Z Depth and Environment (according to documentation)

What about when rendering a still, how do I get elements out then? Or do I have to use the animation render feature, but render only 1 frame?

What about specular, reflection, and multimattes?
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Are supporting more render elements on the roadmap?

Would be nice to at least get specular and reflection passes
Also, a way to get masks, like multimatte for example
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

      Hi Morne,

These are the currently available render elements but others are in development and will be available later this year as discussed in this thread here:https://forums.chaos.com/forum/chaos...ender-elements

Render elements are generated automatically when the output file format is .exr .So you can specify in the output path e.g. "E:\PROJECT\Renders\Cam01.exr" and the generated EXR will have the aforementioned render elements.

      Best regards,
      Alexander
