How many AA samples are you using ? Which version of Vantage ?
There are several options:
1. Increase the LC sample limit (e.g. from 256 to 2048 ). This might not be enough to fix the issue however.
The animated image sequence on the TV causes the light cache to be cleared each frame which causes it to change and flicker I think.
2. Disable the light cache and increase the number of AA samples to the largest value you can wait out.
I am experimenting with some render settings, but i find that if i increase too much, render time will explode and maybe makes it not worth it to use Vantage. And it doesn´t clean up all splotches, using, for example, 2000 samples.

Did you try turning off the light cache ?
Can you send us your scene, so we can test it ?
I love the Chaos Forum but to often posts end in "please send me your file," and I am left hanging.
That´s really true lol. I don´t think i sent the model. The issue happens overall, and it´s not related to a single file but they often blame you and not the software.
Anyway, i don´t use Vantage anymore due to it´s current price. Hope they optimized something on latest version.

Are you having the same issue?

We don't blame the user. The problem is that many issues are scene-specific. When we haven't seen the issue in scenes we work with, we have to find what is different and the easiest way is to get a copy of the scene. Unlike games where the company making the engine also makes the scenes, we only make the engine. There are too many ways that scene contents and engine settings can interact with each other. This can lead to bugs slipping through. It also makes it hard to render with good quality and/or speed automatically, without manual tuning of some settings.

The issue is that, even with manual tuning with max numbers, the splotch doesn´t go away.
