Yeah, I don't know. It should work, unless your subscription was renewed somewhere in there, then it wouldn't work. My subscription was auto renewed right when V2 came out, so I lost it. They said that V2 would work as long as your subscription was current. If you had 6 months left, then you would have V2 for 6 months. If you had 6 days, then you would have vantage for 6 days.

It's pretty easy to check if Vantage renders anything, even an empty new scene. If it does, the license is certainly not the reason for this "Could not connect to host" error.
