  • "Always on Top" hides the HQ render progress when...

    Hi!

I found that when I have "Always on top" enabled, it hides the Render HQ progress, but it only happens when there is only 1 monitor. When I plug the monitor the laptop and I have 2 screens, it works fine.
Is it me or is it for everybody?

    Thank you!

HI, I tested what you describe and the render progress does not disappear. I disconnected one of my monitors, enabled the "always on top" and started a HQ render. Are these the correct steps?

      Hi Vladimir!

I realize I was wrong on how to replicate the issue. It is not about the number of monitors. It happens if "Always on top" (hereinafter AoT) is enabled before the first render of the session.

      Steps to replicate the issue:

      1) Close Vantage if already open.
      2) Open Vantage.
      3) Enable AoT.
      4) Hit HQ render.
      5) The progress dialog is missing.

Once you disable AoT and render once, the dialog will show again and will always work for the rest of the session. With and without AoT.
Sorry for the confusion, accidentally I replicated the issue while plugging and unplugging the monitor

      Thank you!

        Hi Galeon,

I have logged in the issue in our system(LAV-1606) and we will let you know when there is some development.

I have also just encountered this issue as well. Only when Always on Top is enabled.
