hi,
when rendering an animation with a sunset-sequence (animated vray sun + sky + clouds)
there are always some frames that flash/flicker.
AND there are some strange halos/Shadows around the clouds and (sometimes) the objects.
Just at the time the Sun sets and the sky gets dark.
before and after the sunset it renders fine.
I have tried various settings, but nothing changes, even with ultra settings...
Motionblur is turned Off in Max and Vantage
Is there a workaround or a fix?
usually i render this few frames twice: one with only the sky and one complete +alpha channel and fix it in post.
but its far from perfect.
https://youtu.be/Ugl4KR7FUNY
3dsMax 2024, vray 6, Vantage 2.2.3, RTX 4090
This Scene contains Forest Objects (background Trees) and Anima 4d people
Rendersetttings: Video @ 1440p, ultra-settings, 600 samples, nvidia denoiser, dynamic Textures Off, LC Sample limit 1024, LC retrace 2,5, LightsTree 4
attached a frame with heavy ghosting and weird looking clouds
Thanks, Dave
